Homestudy

Well, we had our second homestudy visit today. It went well. We found out that in addition to having our homestudy notarized, approved by CAS, CCAI, Immigration, the Secretary of State, the US Consolate and the Chinese Consolate, it also has to be approved by SC DSS!! Wow!! Lots of paperwork and lots of trusting God..... But it will be worth it. :)

Deciding to Adopt

Our decision to adopt began in December 2011. Both Eric and I had been praying about adoption, and during that time really sensed God leading us in this direction. After looking into many options, we both felt China was the place to go......so we filled out the application and the journey began.
